Welcome to Tremain Danes. Tremain is a Gaelic term which means “House with Stone”. I chose this name because I have a very strong Irish heritage, as well as a house built with and around stone sitting on 17 acres in Western Pennsylvania. We are located about 45 minutes North of Pittsburgh, PA.
I have had Danes of several colors for over the past 15 years. Our dogs and pups are raised with our two young children in a loving home environment with much socialization. It is a true testament to the temperament of our girl, Isabella withstanding all the activity of young children. Isabella, our newest mom, is shown in confirmation and has 9 pts with numerous major reserves. Isabella needs two majors to finish her American Championship in Conformation. Isabella has completed her health testing, which can be seen on the OFA site.
My true love for the Giant Breed started with horses. I began riding at the age of 10 and continued for over 25 years. I then decided I wanted to focus on the breeding and showing of Great Danes which led us to selecting our first show Dane from Saravilla Danes, Mimi Kim , Boardman, Ohio.
At Tremain Danes, our puppies are raised in a loving environment with particular emphasis on temperament, socialization, health and soundness. Our Danes are bred to be the ultimate family pet or one that will excel in the conformation, agility or the obedience ring.
I am also a proud and active board member of the Great Dane Club of Western Pa, and an affiliate member of the Great Dane Club of America.
Please feel free to contact me with any and all questions.
Best Regards,
Christine with Carissa and McKenna
